bulletTo consistently be on time.
bulletTo open and shut down satellite preproom and laboratory areas.

Includes:

bulletUnlocking and locking doors to laboratories
bulletTurning equipment on and off
bulletMaintaining a satisfactory appearance of satellite rooms, laboratory rooms, and balance rooms
bulletMaintaining a safe environment in satellite rooms and laboratory rooms.
bulletRefilling and restocking chemicals and supplies.
bulletRemoving chemical waste.
bulletTo man satellite preproom areas while laboratories are in session.
bulletTo interact in a professional manner with instructors and students, always acting as a representative of the Preproom, the Department, and the University.
bulletTo perform delegated duties as requested.

Requirements:

bulletAt least 1 semester of College Chemistry, including laboratory or the equivalent experience
bulletRisk Management Safety Training Course (to be completed after hire)
bulletRed Cross Adult CPR and First Aid Certification (to be completed after hire)

Shifts:

Hours are given based upon scheduling needs. You must be able to work at least 1 shift which is either 3 ½ or 4 ½ hours. Shifts start as early at 7:30 am and end as late as 10:00 pm.
