Chemistry is grateful for the generosity of
Hypercube, Inc. in sponsoring the
HyperCube Scholar undergraduate award! This award is granted to one
outstanding chemistry student who is presented with the high-powered
HyperChem molecular modeling computer software program valued at over
$995! The winner of this award also receives a framed certificate of
recognition signed by the president and CEO of Hypercube, Inc.
To be eligible for this award, students must be officially declared
undergraduate chemistry majors in good academic standing (and typically
have >3.0 GPA in the chemistry major courses). To apply, students must
submit a letter of interest indicating the value of this prize to their
education or research interests. Letters must be submitted to Robin Rarick
in CHEM 225 (or emailed to
rrarick@email.arizona.edu) by the last day of the spring term each
year. A committee of faculty and staff will select the winner each year
and present the award during the Chemistry reception in the fall.
