Are you a chemistry
major planning
to graduate next semester? If so, please do the following:
- Notify Robin Rarick;
rrarick@email.arizona.edu;
626-7908;
in the Department of Chemistry (email is fine)
to schedule a time to start the degree check process.
- You will fill out an
application for degree candidacy and the $35 charge per degree will
be applied to your Bursar's account.
- You will receive a pink
adjustment sheet to be filled out by your major advisor.
- Please bring a current SAPR to
this meeting.
- You will also be put on the list of graduating students and in the
information loop about COS commencement logistics, exit interviews,
and other issues you may face while going through the graduation
process.
- Attend exit interviews!!
Your feedback is more important than you may think! Day, time,
location TBA each semester - lunch is provided too!
- Complete an exit survey for
the Department of Chemistry; either a paper version (available in OC
225 or download an
electronic version
(Word).
Please return your completed survey to Student Services OC 225 or email
to rrarick@email.arizona.edu
- Attend Commencement Services
- The COS has its own ceremony where students are personally
recognized and departmental awards are presented. The
Bookstore has information about the
UA
campus commencement service
and how to go about ordering your cap & gown and
invitations/announcements. Please know that invitations to these
ceremonies are now sent to your UA email account.
