LAB CHANGE POLICY

Course Coordinator Contact Information

Requests to change lab sections in the same course after the second week of classes need to be approved by the Lab Course Coordinator.

Lab sections may not be changed after the third meeting of the class.

The following reasons for changing courses are considered acceptable and provided lab space is available will probably be approved:

• The lab course conflicts with another scheduled course
• The lab course conflicts with work or prior commitments
• Transportation
• Safety at night concerns

The following reasons for changing courses will be approved only after meeting with the Lab Course Coordinator responsible for the course:

• The TA speaks with an accent
• Personality conflicts with the TA
• Want to be in the same section as another
• Not a morning person
• Not an evening person

In the event the request is TA-related, the Lab Course Coordinator should be informed immediately.
